Kia Seltos SIM2K-510 SCR + DPF AdBlue Removal Emulator – Emission System Diagnostic Solution
The Kia Seltos SIM2K-510 SCR + DPF AdBlue Removal Emulator by Canbus Emulator is a professional diagnostic module designed for Kia Seltos vehicles equipped with the SIM2K-510 engine control unit (ECU).
Modern diesel vehicles use advanced exhaust after-treatment technologies such as SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction), AdBlue dosing systems, and Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF). These systems help reduce emissions but may trigger warning lights, regeneration issues, or diagnostic trouble codes when faults occur.
The Kia Seltos SIM2K-510 emulator assists technicians during emission system diagnostics by maintaining stable communication between the ECU and exhaust system components through the CAN-BUS network.
Common Emission System Components
Vehicles equipped with the SIM2K-510 ECU rely on multiple sensors and control modules to monitor exhaust emissions and manage regeneration cycles. Faults in these components may cause warning indicators, reduced performance, or stored diagnostic trouble codes.
- SCR control unit
- AdBlue pump and tank sensors
- Inlet and outlet NOx sensors
- DPF differential pressure sensor
- PM sensor (particle density sensor)
Operational Advantages
- Supports SCR and DPF emission system diagnostics
- Maintains stable ECU communication during troubleshooting
- Helps technicians identify emission system faults
- Reduces warning indicators during repair procedures
- Designed for professional automotive workshop use
Simulated Systems
- SCR control unit
- AdBlue pump and tank sensors
- NOx sensors
- DPF differential pressure sensor
- PM sensor communication
Compatibility
- Kia Seltos vehicles equipped with SIM2K-510 engine ECU
Installation Options
If the DPF filter is damaged or removed, the emulator can be connected using all wiring lines to simulate both SCR and DPF systems.
If the DPF filter remains installed and operational, only the green-yellow CAN-BUS lines and red-black power lines can be connected according to the installation documentation to simulate the SCR system only.
With this configuration, the vehicle continues normal regeneration cycles while the SCR system communication is maintained.
Additional Installation Note
For certain 2021 and newer vehicles equipped with the SIM2K-510 ECU, if passive warnings such as ABS alerts or delayed engine start occur after installation, the V2 connection method can be applied by disconnecting the brown-white wire.
Important Information
This product is intended for professional diagnostic and authorised repair procedures. Installation should be carried out by qualified automotive technicians using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
